Pioneer Diamond Wire Drawing Die Blank is the polycrystalline diamond (PCD) product made under advanced high temperature and ultra-high pressure. Diamond powder sintered with a few of metal catalyst (Cobalt) for fully bond of diamond-to-diamond key. It has character of high abrasion resistance, mechanical strength, and good thermal conductivity. New Asia Die Blank could be your reliable choice for wire drawing in a wide range, such as for stainless steel, copper, tungsten, molybdenum, aluminum, nickel, and etc.
Pioneer supplies two series of diamond wire drawing die blank: 'TDW' and 'DW'. They are available in grain sizes of 3 micron, 5 micron, 10 micron, 15 micron, 25 micron and 50 micron.
DW is tungsten carbide supported die blank, i.e. a polycrystalline diamond core completely integrated with a tungsten carbide ring. The supported carbide ring can increase the toughness of the blank, and bear more heavy impact during wire drawing.
DW Series is self-supported die blank, which included two types: DWR (round) and DWH (hexagon). DW die blank is commonly usable for all types of wire drawing, especially suitable for the economical application.
